WEWE is a women led, faith based NGO that supports and promotes the rights of women and also promotes gender equality particularly for women. WEWE Board of Trustees is women dominated and women led. Find below the members of our incorporated Board of Trustees:
Mrs Funmilayo Oyefusi: Chairman, WEWE Board of Incorporated Trustees:
Mrs Funmilayo Titilayo Oyefusi is from Egbado North Local Government area of Ogun State. She has over 20 years work experience as an Organizational Development practitioner and is currently the Director of Organizational Effectiveness in Action Aid Nigeria. She is also a member of the Institute of Personnel Management Nigeria and Society for Human Resource Management, USA.
Ms. Gloria Njiowhor: Secretary, WEWE Board of Trustees:
Ms. Njiowhor is from Obio-Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State. She has 11 years working experience as a public servant and is currently the Principal Administrative Officer/Electoral Officer on grade level 12 at Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) covering Niger State zone. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Port Harcourt and also has a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Public Administration from the University of Abuja.
Mr Sam Jegede: Member, WEWE Board of Trustees:
Sam is from Owan East LGA, jeh Sam-Jegede FCA, ACTI, MILRM, MBA. Chartered Accountant/Tax Expert/Trainer/Financial Advisor.
Sam is from Edo State and he heads WEWE’s Audit Committee of the Board of Incorporated of Trustee. His relevant experience to this project is the financial aspect of board governance as he supervised the developed of the Audit Committees term of reference and guides which is a requirement for every organization registered with corporate affairs commission.
Sam is a diversified Management Professional with specialty in Forensic Audit, Accounting, Project Management Professional, Financial Advisor, Revenue Specialist, Certified CMD Trainer, and Tax Arrears Driver. He is a Nigerian value-added solution provider with more than 24 years’ cognate experiences in Banking, Compliance/Internal Control, Multinational/NGO Audits, Performance Management Consultancy and Federal Government Resource/Public Income Assurance Reviewer.
Mr. Ojeh Sam-Jegede has Masters, Business Administration in Finance from the University of Lagos; An Executive MBA in Operations Research and Project Management from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife. He is a chartered accountant and an experienced Audit professional. He is a Fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN); an Associate of Chartered Institute of Taxation, Nigeria (CITN); an Associate Member of Institute of Loan & Risk Management (MILRM) and Certified Institute of Cost Management of Nigeria. He is also a certified Management Professional Trainer by the Centre for Management Development (CMD) -Nigerians Training Accreditations Agency.
