REQUEST FOR SHORT TERM CONSULTANCY SERVICES – STRATEGIC PLAN DEVELOPMENT

Widows and Orphans Empowerment Organization (WEWE), a women-led, faith-based Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) is soliciting for a consultant with expertise in coordinating update of WEWE’s strategic plan development 2023 to 2028.

WEWE is currently implementing a USAID-funded project and a US CDC funded project.

This position is being recruited strictly on merit, we do not have an already existing consultant, and we are sincerely looking for the best consultant that can coordinate update of WEWE’s strategic plan development and ensures organizational sustainability.

Location:        Abuja

The consultancy services will include the following:

Requirements

• Facilitate the development of 5-10 years strategic plan for the organization
• Provide guidance on writing organizational measurable objectives in line with the team and organizations visions
• The consultant will be expected to work in collaboration with the WEWE management
• Experience in a technically oriented customer service organization
• Excellent customer service skills
• Highly motivated and committed to the values of transparency and integrity

Duration of Assignment:

The assignment is to be completed within One (1) month from the date of the official signing of the contract

Qualification:

A successful candidate will have the following expertise and experience:

• Understanding of strategic plan development
• Graduate or post graduate degree in any discipline, although business management and administration, economics or finance will be advantage and a Master’s degree is preferable.
• Minimum five to ten years of experience in conducting strategic plan development
• Experience working with international NGOs, local civil society organizations, bilateral and multilateral donors in a multi-cultural, politically sensitive environment is an advantage.
