Teambuilding Expert Short-Term Consultancy

Widows and Orphans Empowerment Organisation (WEWE) is looking for a consultant who will design a four days team building/goal setting exercise for staff on WEWE Local Partners for Orphans and Vulnerable Children in Nigeria’ (LOPIN-2) project. The team members will consist of senior management, mid and junior level staff from programs and operations. The tasks should be creative and serve the purpose of motivating and boosting the overall team performance.

WEWE is a reputable national indigenous non-governmental organization implementing a comprehensive USAID-funded Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) project called Local Partners for Orphans and Vulnerable Children in Nigeria (LOPIN-2) in partnership with local and international organizations as well as different tiers of the Government of Nigeria at national, state, local and site levels.

Specific Task/Deliverables:

  • Detailed plan of activities and methodology
  • Design and Facilitation of team building/goal setting activities
  • Provide guidance to staff on writing SMART measurable objectives in line with the team and organizations visions
  • Comprehensive report on team building and goal setting exercise

Qualification:

A successful candidate will have the following expertise and experience:

  • Minimum five to ten years of experience in designing, planning and facilitating team building/goal setting events for development organizations
  • Understanding of team dynamics and cultural sensitivity
  • Hold a graduate or post graduate degree in any discipline, although business management and administration, economics or finance will be an advantage. A Master’s degree is preferable.

Working Relationships:

The consultant will be expected to work in collaboration with the WEWE management and specifically WEWE-LOPIN 2 staff
