Project Manager
The Incorporated Trustees of Widows and Orphans Empowerment Organization [hereinafter referred to as “Widows and Orphans Empowerment Organization (WEWE)”] a local not-for-profit, faith-based Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) is seeking applications from qualified candidates to fill in the positions of Project Manager in response to USAID request for applications
This position is being recruited strictly on merit, we do not have an already existing candidate, and we are sincerely looking for the best candidate that can add value to the organization
Position: Project Manager
Location: The successful candidate will be based in Ebonyi State
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- S/he will provides the overall leadership, technical guidance, vision, and management to staff for successful implementation.
- S/he will be responsible for meeting all agreement obligations, including documentation and quality report writing.
- S/he will overall oversight and administrative management of the program.
- S/he will be responsible for meeting agreement obligations, producing deliverables and targets, and achieving project results as specified by the project.
- S/he will oversees project planning, provides technical support and ensures implementation, with a focus on results and financial accountability for all project activities.
- S/he will be responsible for reporting and milestone deliverables while ensuring results for project activities within the allotted time frame.
- S/he communicates with project partners.
- S/he will oversees M&E and reporting activities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Individual in a leadership role in the organization.
- MPH, Medical, Nursing, or midwifery
- Minimum of 5 years of institutional work experience and expertise in MNCAH, GESI, GBV, FP and/or related public health technical areas.
- Advanced experience in competency-based skill-building training for CHWs.
- Experience managing a USAID-funded project/sub-project is highly desirable.
- Experience in quality improvement is highly desirable.
- Experience in report writing.
- Excellent English writing skills
