VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT IN WIDOWS AND ORPHANS EMPOWERMENT ORGANIZATION (WEWE)
The Incorporated Trustees of Widows and Orphans Empowerment Organization [hereinafter referred to as “Widows and Orphans Empowerment Organization (WEWE)”] a local not-for-profit Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) is seeking applications from qualified candidates to fill in the positions of Office Cleaner/Administrative Assistant.
WEWE is currently implementing a US Center for Disease Control (CDC) funded project as a sub-grantee in Rivers State targeting over 140,000 beneficiaries per annum. Children, adolescents, and adult caregivers are the key population for FY24 and we are looking for a God-fearing, talented, gifted, and intelligent Office Cleaner/Administrative Assistant.
Position: Office Cleaner/Administrative Assistant
Location: The successful candidate will be based in Port Harcourt – Rivers State
Office Cleaner Job Responsibilities
- S/he will ensure that the office premises are always clean by sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing the floor with complete floor detergent and deodorant
- S/he will ensure that the kitchen area is tidy at all times
- S/he will ensure the cleaning of the entire office at the appropriate time so it does not interfere with the general activities of the office
- S/he will remove the trash from within the office to the designated bin either within or outside the office complex daily
- S/he will ensure that male and female restrooms are washed, clean, and tidy
- S/he will remove cobwebs and dust the entire office daily
- S/he will check and report on maintenance needs in the office
Administrative Assistant Job Responsibilities
- S/he will assist to support in market surveys, collection of quotes, and preparation of Quote Analysis/Justification, purchases, follow-up on vendors for collection of receipts and invoices from vendors on all transactions
- S/he will assist and be accountable for packing and stocking the shelves.
- S/he will assist in managing and recording all incoming materials, schedule meetings, and book conference rooms
- S/he will assist in confirming and retagging WEWE asset
- S/he will assist in taking daily inventory of the assigned supply, and requisitions, and restock supplies.
- S/he will assist in rotating the stock and ensure that the stored area is clean and maintained up to date by the regulatory requirements.
- S/he will assist in monitoring the usage of the stock, create reports related to the utilization
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum qualification OND
- Must have an upper credit in any social or management science or a relevant field
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a minimum of 1 to 2 years of cognitive experience in a reputable Organization in a similar role
- Excellent and positive attitude to work
- Ability to multitask

Salary: Kindly note that the Office Cleaner will be given a monthly fixed salary of N50, 000 (Fifty Thousand Naira Only)
